In 2009, Axel May assumed the role as the 11th generation of his family to uphold the esteemed tradition of winemaking. Following apprenticeships at renowned estates, obtaining a viticulture degree from Geisenheim, and completing internships in California and New Zealand, he feels privileged to now lead his family's estate into the future with humility and gratitude.
